Youth Against Slavery Brunei
Youth Against Slavery Brunei (YASBrunei) is a Bruneian youth initiative that is a product of Young South East Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) -a US government initiative.
This project has the support of the US Embassy of Brunei, International Organisationfor Migration (IOMx) and The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) through the Young South East Asia Leaders Initiative (YSEALI).
We focus in issues affecting youths and migrants seeking opportunities out of their hometowns for better economic opportunities. Migration can make people vulnerable to exploitation and trafficking, especially when they are notgiven genuine information.
We conduct outreach programs to develop and increase awareness to young people on the issues mentioned.
This project is part of a youth-led regional network and movement on the issues of Decent Work, Safe Migration, Human Trafficking and Modern Day Slavery as these issues are both domestic transnational concerns .
